The Way Out House

  • 2 Guests
  • 1 Bedroom
  • 2 Beds
  • 1 Bathroom

The Way Out House is a "tiny home" on the same property as The Highview Cabin in The Catskills in Upstate New York.

The loft bed sleeps two, as does the pull-out couch bed in the living room.

There is a soaking tub atop a heated slate floor, a faux wood burning stove with remote and silly crackle device, TV with all streaming services, smart speaker, Phillips Hue voice-command lights with varying dimming and temp settings, mini bar, record player and plentiful books.

The only thing not provided in the kitchen is a stove top or microwave. Designer hosting ware and ceramics, bar-sized fridge from The Gramercy Hotel, full pour-over coffee station (with instant, too), a blender, and an air fryer that has all the settings of a small oven for reheating, cooking or baking.

You’ll also find coat hangers, a shoe caddy with slippers, oversized bath sheet towels and waffle robes.

The Agrarian Home Family
The Agrarian Home Family

The Agrarian Home is the interior design studio, styling, locations and events outfit of a family of diverse creatives.

They've personally gathered and served over two hundred longtable dinners, also often assisting the traveling 'Outstanding in The Field' table-on-farm banquets. In the events realm, they've been on the programming staff of festivals of many genre (Sundance, Cannes, Brooklyn Film Fest, many galleries, writer retreats, workshops, too many music fests to count), and host talent-share salons for artists and academics to share their work for a cozy living room audience.

In Upstate New York, they’ve renovated a 1,000-sq-ft 1960's log cabin with a tiny-home backhouse in the Catskills gem of Phoenicia, and are now the family behind the known-to-be epic 4,000-sq-ft 1790’s post-‘n-beam barn conversion property in Orange County that encompasses a cathedral barn side with soaring 30ft ceilings, a farmhouse cottage side with that style of charm, and at a mere hour and change from the city with a bus from Port Authority. This property as well has an addendum 1,000-sq-ft raw and whitewashed post-n-beam barn studio with 30ft ceilings.

In New York City, they helm The Palm, a two-bedroom 2,500-sq-ft artist’s loft space in Clinton Hill, and The Fig, a darling 360-sq-ft pied-à-terre in Williamsburg, both of which are among the most coveted shoot location, workcation and staycay/vacay rentals in their categories.

They so enjoy sharing the loft, the studio, the cabin, the tiny home, the farmhouse, the barn and raw studio. Welcome to The Agrarian Home portfolio!
